Vertical Descent
1,420 m
Brief - Create a communication solution that mutually benefits SkiStar, individuals, and the society — an approach referred to as 'Shared Value' by Harvard Professor Michael Porter.
Problem - We discovered untapped potential in an overlooked demographic in the skiing world: People aged 65 and over. Additionally, we aimed to address a significant public health issue - fall accidents. The fear of falling greatly inhibits many older people from engaging in winter exercise and visiting the mountains for skiing.
Insight - It's not the fall that hurts, it's how you land.
Solution - To tackle this, we initiated SkiStar's own fall school to teach effective falling techniques to prevent injuries.
